Why we’re building it
Most closets are full of good pieces that rarely come out. Some were bought for one occasion, some never found the right partner, and some are simply hidden behind the things we reach for every day. The result is a familiar morning: a full rail and nothing to wear.
MANNEQUIN turns that closet into something you can see all at once. You catalog what you own, dress an avatar shaped like you, and plan outfits around the life you actually have, from Monday meetings to a week away. The goal is simple: wear more of what you already own, and buy new things only when they earn their place.
What the app does
The Wardrobe
Getting your closet in shouldn’t take a weekend. Import a whole order at once from an e-receipt or its screenshot, paste a product link from any retailer, or type the UPC or RN number from a tag. If a photo is easier, one shot is enough: the background is removed and the tag is read for you. Each piece is filed by category with its brand and price, and MANNEQUIN tracks how often you wear it so you can see your true cost per wear. A separate wish list holds the things you’re considering.
The Canvas
Your avatar is built to your proportions, skin tone and hair. Layer tops, bottoms, outerwear and shoes, swap pieces in a tap, and check how each one is meant to fit, whether that’s close to the body, true to size or relaxed.
The Calendar
Plan outfits by the day, three days or a month at a time. The forecast for where you’ll be sits beside each day. Trips, holidays and events live on the same calendar, and packing lists come straight from the looks you plan.
Discover and lookbooks
Search by vibe, from minimal to edgy, or by occasion, from brunch to a wedding. Try new pieces on your avatar before you buy, and save complete outfits into lookbooks you can return to.
Who it’s for
MANNEQUIN is for anyone 13 and older who wants getting dressed to be easier and more personal. It supports womenswear and menswear, a wide range of bodies, and English, Spanish, French and German.
How we keep it honest
- Ads are labeled. Sponsored pieces and placements are marked as ads, with a note on why you’re seeing them.
- Your choices stay yours. Privacy and consent settings live in your profile, including the regional options the law requires.
- Samples are samples. Brand names in our previews, such as Maison Aurel, are fictional.
Where we are
